The film was scheduled for an opening on Wednesday but there was no indication of the film.
Beast Box Office: Though his counterparts from Telugu [Allu Arjun, NTR Jr., Ram Charan] and Kannada [Yash] cinema have started making inroads amongst the pan-Indian audiences with back-to-back successes Pushpa, RRR, and KGF: Chapter 2, Vijay is not enjoying any such luck.
Last year when his Master had released in his Hindi version, it had proven to be a massive disaster, with lifetime collections folding up at five crores if the beginning of Beast (Raw) (Hindi Dubbed variant of Beast) is any indicator that it’s going to be a much more devastating disaster, with much smaller collections.

The writing was in the sand during the weekend itself, when the booking was unable to be accepted for this Hindi version. The film was scheduled to release mid-week on Wednesday, but there was no indication that the movie was in production.
The promotion was indeed released last week. However, one doesn’t have to worry about it since most south-based films release their promotional videos only a few days before the release.
The promo did not have much impression, but it was ignored because, in the south, the fame of the lead man is the most important thing.
However, to find any traction, a good release was the need of the hour, at least. The advance was only launched this week. The biggest issue is that it was an apology for an announcement in the Hindi version.
The majority of theatres allocated more than 80 percent of the shows towards KGF: Chapter 2, with the rest going to RRR Hindi, Beast, and The Kashmir Files (in that order). It was over with the Vijay starrer from the beginning.
It was evident from the way that the first day was barely 0.50 crores* while the second day was 0.25 million.
With 0.75 crores to its credit to date and a typical weekend that starts today will not significantly assist Beast (Raw). The reports haven’t been immensely encouraging.
Beast Box Office likely to be a flop, and I’ve written that there’s no hope after Monday because some shows could be transferred to KGF Chapter 2 (Hindi) or RRR [Hindi].
