Operation Romeo Movie Review: Script Analysis

The “Road Trip Went Worrisome” genre may be niche; however, it’s not novel to Indian cinema. The most recent good movies in this genre included NH-10 and Fahadh Aasil’s Irul.
Operation Romeo is an addition and contains all the ingredients to make a great thriller that stays with you for a while, at the very least. However, it is an incoherent product that isn’t sure of its goal and leaves the viewers unsatisfied.
Original story written by Ratheesh Ravi and screenplay written by Arshad Syed. Operation Romeo talks about many issues that affect our world. It is constantly reminded of the safety that we’re yet to design for women and how pervasive the majority of men inherit the predatory eye.
At the very least, the first 15 minutes of the show make it clear. The rest of the film aligns with the basic message but is entirely separate. The writers attempt to craft the story into a novel that can end with educating and enthralling viewers who could see themselves in similar situations. It’s a noble idea.
The screen’s translation is never an attempt to blend. The messages are unclear, and the thriller portion is not well-organized, which means that technically they do not mix to tell a tale that is entertaining and educational simultaneously. Consider Stree as an instance. It’s a comedy movie; however, the concept is identical.
It tells you about the difficulties as a female, making men feel like they are in their shoes and laughing at it; however, it’s not meant to appear like two distinct people.
In one instance, Operation Romeo even felt like an open letter from introverted males who aren’t prone to fights and are deemed less of an individual by some. However, that was not the case for me. Now you understand why I was I was a bit confused.
It’s a credit to the right people. The tension-building tension in Operation Romeo is impressive. As soon as they begin their journey on that date, you can tell that every step can lead them to the end of the world; however, it’s terrifying.
It is also helpful that I’ve lived my entire life in this city, and it’s simple to envision myself being in the same circumstances, walking similar streets. The producers know that they’re great in this area. Therefore they extend it over the first part of the movie and eventually become too indulgent.
The thriller begins in the second part. This is an arrangement that allows two films to make one. To get to the point of no return and fit the maximum amount of information within the two hours and 15 minutes, filmmakers take the convenient way several times.
The antagonist happens to take the path and discover the villains’ secrets. It’s not hard to make it appear organic.
I can understand the motives behind the decision to make a leading man who isn’t an idealist. He’s flawed. His main concern in rescuing his girlfriend from the predator’s grasp is not about whether she’s okay to be acceptable or not.
What matters is if she touched him or not. In addition, the simple fact that she is calling him a woman and not a man is triggering the predator who is aiming at her. It’s all a bit tangled and even toxic.
If your hero is so complicated and complex, let the audience decide whether they want to be with him or not. Why do you make a half-baked finale and feed an emotion already raised within the minds of viewers?
Operation Romeo Movie Review: Star Performance

Sidhant Gupta, who is making his film debut, is the ability to perform, and you can feel it when he is doing some massive lifting. Of course, there’s an extensive distance to go. Still, Sidhant Gupta is a polished actor and offered roles that allow him to show his potential even more.
Sharad Kelkar’s cake portrays the character as a complete pervert upon meeting him. Although he was a bit over the top twice or three times, that was not the main issue in this confusing story. But I’m not ignoring the fact that he did. Kishore Kadam has an acting talent that can make the weakest look most potent!
Vedika Pinto becomes the victim. The best part is that the producers do not write the story about her so that she is a plot point. However, they create her as an antagonist and then kill this one good thing. She’s the trigger, and she is the trigger for the boyfriend, who then realizes that he’s supposed to be a man!
Bhoomika Chawla has a significant presence on the screen, you people. She plays a key role, and she does it well. The dialogues are a bit truncated when you have to use Marathi; overall, it’s a good film.
Operation Romeo Movie Review: Direction, Music
Shashank Shah’s direction, while moderate, is also somewhat complicated. On paper, the story appears like it was designed to examine moral policing from the perspective of a person who is an honest policeman and is stuck in a tense situation.
On-screen, it appears like a young man in such a state of control of his brain that he isn’t sure what he’s supposed to be angered over.
The film is being marketed as a learning source. The audience has to be super intelligent right now. Anything that discusses revenge or a man becoming more focused on determining if his partner has been “pure” or not can be an educational source for sir.
If that’s the scenario, Kabir Singh/Arjun Reddy was taught at a master’s program and a guilty character. They even made it look like the most significant film.
The music included in Operation Romeo exists and isn’t doing anything to improve the quality of the film even a little.
Operation Romeo Movie Review: The Last Word
Operation Romeo is an idea that was an innovative game-changer but was so caught up in its insecure thoughts and didn’t go anywhere.

Operation Romeo Movie Review Rating:
A newlywed couple decides to have an evening date to celebrate their girl's (Neha, Vedika) birthday. The boyfriend (Adi and Sidhant) is planning the date, which will take the couple to the city of Mumbai. His sexual libido increases as they prepare to get married in the car around midnight. Police officers catch the couple and discover that to be a pervert as well. The rest is history.
PROS
- Sidhant Gupta’s honesty towards his craft & the tension that him Sharad and the set up manage to create.
CONS
- This tangled space was where the filmmakers sat all the time when they were making the film. The conflict between the idea of making it an action thriller or a moral conflict drama is enough to make it so annoying that it eliminates the final scene.
